The Fast Track Review window is now open for applicants who applied to the Petty Traders Support Programme – Third Circle (Oct–Dec 2025).

This Fast Track Review opportunity has been introduced to prioritise applicants within our Telegram community, ensuring that those who stay connected with our official updates are considered earlier in the review process.

Fast Track Review of Application for Oct – Dec, 2025 Applicant ONLY - Petty Traders Grant Support Programme - 30/3/2026

Applicants from the Oct – Dec 2025 Circle will soon have the opportunity to request a Fast Track Review of their applications.

We will be opening a Fast Track Review Window for applicants who would like their applications to be reviewed sooner.

If you applied during the Oct – Dec 2025 cycle, you will be able to notify us during this window so your application can be considered for prompt review.

Please NOTE:
• This window is strictly for applicants from Oct – Dec 2025.
• New applications will NOT be accepted.
• Only applicants who submit their notification during the window will be considered for Fast Track Review.

Official Announcement: Temporary Pause of Petty Traders Grant Support Programme Applications - 11/3/2026

We wish to inform the public that applications for the Petty Traders Grant Support Programme will be temporarily paused after the conclusion of the third grant circle which is currently opened and would close on the 31st of March, 2026. We anticipate resuming the application process within the next one to two months.

This pause is necessary for the following reasons;

  1. To allow our team to properly attend to previously shortlisted applicants who are yet to be attended to.
  2. To complete the shortlisting process for both the second (Oct – Dec, 2025) and third (Jan – March,2026) circles, which application will close on 31st of March,2026
  3. To help speed up verification process for pending applicants. This particular process is taking longer than initially anticipated.
  4. To enable us ensure a thorough and accurate verification process and maintaining fairness of the programme.
  5. To follow up on progress report from all beneficiaries who has been disbursed to.
  6. To create proper awareness of the programmes eligibility and criteria.
  7. To evaluate the programme and restructure adequately.

Important: Anyone still interested in applying should submit their application before 31st of March, 2026 to be considered for the current cycle.

Change of Information Now Open

Applicants who previously submitted their forms for the Petty Traders Grant Support Programme can now request corrections or updates to any information they entered in error. If you made a mistake in your original application such as your name, phone number, business details, bank information, or any other entry you can now submit a Change of Information Request Form to update your records.

Please review your details carefully before submitting your request. The correction window closes on 30th November 2025.

Official Notice: Current Grant Funding Limit

Youth Empowerment Nigeria has been organizing skill acquisition training across the country since 2014. In June this year, we introduced a Grant Initiative to support petty businesses with amounts ranging from ₦10,000 to ₦100,000. At the moment, we do not provide grants above ₦100,000.

Important Information for Previous Applicants

If you applied for the Petty Traders Grant Support Programme (June - August,2025 Batch), please do not reapply for the October - December, 2025 Batch yet. Kindly wait until the list of shortlisted applicants has been released completely. If your name is not on the shortlist, you may proceed to reapply for the October -December 2025 Batch if you wish to try again.

Reapplication Policy for Shortlisted Applicants

All shortlisted applicants are not allowed to apply again for the Petty Traders Grant Support Programme. You may only apply for other support programmes for which you have not been shortlisted. Kindly note that we are currently working on additional support programmes, which are yet to officially commence. Please stay connected with us to receive updates once they become available.
